- Severe anxiety or panic attacks
- Psychosis or severe mental confusion
- Threatening behavior or aggression
- Severe depression
- Substance use crisis
- Emotional trauma
- Self-harm
- Caregiver crisis

- Assessment: The team will assess the person’s mental health, risk of harm, and immediate needs.
- De-escalation: The team will use proven techniques to calm the situation and ensure safety.
- Stabilization: They offer short-term solutions such as counseling, medication management, and linking the individual to ongoing support services.
- Referral and Follow-up: MCTs connect individuals to necessary services and follow up to ensure continuous care.

- Emotional distress
- Needing crisis support for yourself or someone else
- Call 988 for immediate support.

- Connection to a Trained Counselor: You will be connected to a counselor who will listen and provide support.
- Crisis Intervention: The counselor can offer crisis intervention and support.
- Resources and Referrals: You will be provided with resources and referrals for ongoing support.
When to Call 911:
- Immediate danger to life or safety
- Severe injury or medical emergency
- Situations requiring immediate law enforcement intervention
- Dial 911 for emergency services.
- Rapid Response: Emergency services will respond as quickly as possible to the situation.
- Immediate Intervention: Trained professionals will provide necessary intervention and transport to a hospital if needed.
- Coordination with Other Services: Emergency responders will coordinate with mental health professionals if a mental health crisis is involved.
When to Call 211:
- Assistance with finding mental health resources
- Housing and homelessness support
- Food and basic necessities
- Financial assistance and utility help
- Legal and health services
- General community services and referrals

- Connection to a Resource Specialist: You will be connected to a specialist who will listen to your needs and provide information about available resources.
- Information and Referrals: The specialist will offer information about and referrals to local services that can help with your specific needs.
- Follow-Up Support: In some cases, 211 may provide follow-up support to ensure you are connected with the appropriate services.
