Using the Question, Persuade, and Refer model, this gatekeeper training is based on the belief and supporting research that individuals who are most at-risk for suicide do not refer themselves for treatment. This training will inform participants how to recognize the “real crisis” of suicide and the symptoms that may accompany it. Also, participants will be trained how to get those at-risk the help they need.
